London is a big city located in the British Islands and is the capital of England. The city has a lot of tourists trap and is visited by milions of people all the year around.

The center of London is composed by a lot of buildings and monuments like Big Ben or Buckingham Palace. London is a very cultural city and there you can find a lot of museums like the British Museum on the Natural History museum.

If you want to buy typical things of london you should go to its markets, like Candem market. There, you can find whatever you want. And if your passion is football, in the city you can find 5 stadiums of differents teams. Don't miss visiting Wembley Stadium or Stamford Bridge Stadium. they are amazing.

It's worth the visit to this city because you can enjoy all the places and learn English talking to other people and it doesn't have an expensive cost. Don't forget to eat fish and chips there and take a photo with the popular red phone booths.

Hello Amancio Ortega,

I’m writing to apply for a grant. I live in Santa Margarida de Montbui, Barcelona.

My school is IES Montbui this school is situate in my town. In my family we are 3

people, my sister Èlia, my mother Sara and my father Josep.

I have many friends, we are a group of 12 people. My friends are very funny. I work
as an referee,I have been refereeing for 3 years and I like it because I already
depend on myself economically. Last year I played football but I had to leave for
studies. I love sports and football. My favorite team is FC Barcelona. Apart from
this I am a member of Barcelona and I usually go to CAMP NOU to watch games.

I apply for a grant because I think it is a unique opportunity to know another
country to study and learn English, which is one of the most important languages
​​in the world. I think it would be the perfect opportunity to improve my level of English.

To start the idea to do more pedestrian zones is good beacuse in big cities this is a problem buscause big cities have more people who walk on the pedestrian zone and the pedestrian zone is very little.. This is one of the reasons why cities centres must be turned into a carfree pedestrian-only zone.

Firstly, I think that peoplewho walk on the pedestrian zone are very poor because cars pass very fast. If in the cities they put only a pedestrian zone the people would walk in a more relaxing way. Beacuse cars don't pass.

Secondly, this ir very importantpollution.Pollution of cars is very bigand if you put more pedestrian zones, the people don't have use the car and they go on foot to the shops.

In conclusion the idea to do more pedestrian zones is a good idea because personally I think that improves the level of life of the people of the city.
